Redhouse Barn Wedding Photographer
Back at the end of 2019, I got to be Laura & Richards Redhouse Barn Wedding Photographer. Thanks to Covid decimating my 2020 wedding season, it only seems like 5 mins since I was capturing this beautiful crisp winter barn wedding.
I arrived at the barn early, where Laura & her team were enjoying coffee and breakfast at Redhouse Barn’s specially built bridal preparation suite. It was a very relaxed morning and as far as I could tell, it went without a hitch. I had recruited my trusty second shooter Chris to follow Richard and Co in the morning before we all met up together for the beautiful ceremony.
The weather wasn’t playing ball completely and the day pretty much took place within the beautiful buildings that Redhouse Barn has to offer. Whilst the guests mingled and laughed, we did manage to sneak the bride and groom out for some pictures around the lovely gardens. After everyone had wet their whistles, we settled down for some dinner and fun speeches. The evening was a fun affair with a great dance floor and one of the best photo booths I have ever seen…we are talking full green screen magic!
Getting to be Laura & Richards Redhouse Barn Wedding photographer was my penultimate wedding of 2019 and the words Covid 19 hadn’t been spoken. It’s crazy to think what was to come only a few months later. Massive thanks to the Redhouse Barn team, who were a pleasure to work with. Big thumbs up to Chris Bunce for his help on the day and obviously Laura & Richard get the biggest of thanks for picking me to be their wedding photographer.
Redhouse Barn Wedding Venue
Redhouse Barn is set in the Worcestershire countryside and unlike many barn wedding venues, there’s a lot of space. There are three main rooms to host your celebrations, which means the day flows freely and you really do get the most out of the venue. The grounds are beautiful and the staff made my visit their very welcoming. It mixes the rustic charm you would expect from a barn venue with a contemporary feel.
Wedding Photography at Redhouse Barn
As mentioned, the grounds at Redhouse Barns are beautiful and their plenty of greenery and rustic charm to take advantage of for the couples portraits. There’s plenty of space for group shots of any size and the light interior of the main rooms makes it a lovely space to photograph in.
Put it this way, there was never any worry about where to take pictures even during the winter.
