The Out Barn Wedding Photographer
Being Georgina and James’ Out Barn wedding Photographer in Lancashire was definitely one of the highlights of my year. Having previously captured James’ brother’s wedding a few years ago at The Mill Barns, it felt incredibly special to be welcomed back by the family and to see so many familiar faces. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be a fantastic day, and it didn’t disappoint. The day was beautifully relaxed, full of genuine joy, and surrounded by amazing people.
I started the morning in the cottages onsite at The Out Barn, where Georgina and her crew had a calm and fun start to the day, while my second shooter spent time with the boys. The ceremony took place inside the large barn, and once the rings were exchanged and the confetti had thrown, everyone moved outside to the courtyard to enjoy drinks and live music from the talented LKUHKU. After some heartfelt speeches, delicious food and some entertainment from the MC, the party really kicked off with more live music as the sun began to set over the Lancashire hills. We even managed to capture the tail end of the sunset for some stunning portraits before dancing the night away back inside The Out Barn.
It was wonderful to work alongside my old friend Roo Films and to have Jono Symonds second shooting for me. Working as a team with friends always makes the day even more enjoyable. It was also fantastic to spend the day with such brilliant suppliers who made everything run so smoothly.
The Out Barn Wedding Venue
Found in the secluded Lancashire countryside, The Out Barn is the perfect wedding venue for those wanting some rustic charm mixed with some modern style. It’s an exclusive use wedding venue that also offers multiple day bookings for those people that want to make a weekend of their celebrations. There’s onsite accommodation in the cool lodge cabins or the cottages and you can host up to 150 guests for the wedding itself. The barn itself is beautiful and over looks the Lancashire hills but for me, the grounds are where this venue truly shines. With wildflower meadows, bridges over streams and just green spaces as far as the eye can see, The Out Barn really is a beautiful wedding venue inside and out.
