Being British, it’s always hard to bring yourself to talk about your achievements and it’s something we aren’t very good at doing.
However, I can’t deny I’m very proud of some of the achievements my images and business have won over the last few years. Being an award-winning wedding photographer is something I’m proud of and makes me want to keep creating beautiful storytelling images & epic portraits that catch people’s eye. Here are a few of the awards I’ve won.
FEARLESS PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
These bad boys are a real joy to win. With over 20,000 images submitted for each round, bagging a Fearless award is a tough one. Every round of awards sees some of the biggest names in our industry winning, so to be among them is absolutely awesome. Ive also bagged a couple of “Photo of the Week” images too.
The Wedding Industry Awards
The Wedding Industry Awards are the biggest wedding industry awards event in the UK and they champion pretty much every kind of wedding supplier. From Tipi suppliers to stationary and everything in between. In 2022 I won the Wedding Photographer of the Year award at the West-Midlands event which blew my mind. I’ve also had the pleasure of being Highly Commended on four separate occasions too. The photography category is usually the busiest of the night, so to get that honour is fantastic. What makes this award so special is that it is voted for by previous wedding couples and industry experts together.
YOUR PERFECT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – TOP 100
Every year the team at Your Perfect Wedding Photographer drop their top 100 wedding photographers in the UK roundup and for the last five years, I’ve made that list. It’s a huge honour and considering there are thousands of us photographers, it’s a fantastic achievement. Every month Your Perfect Wedding photographer also have awards for individual images in various categories. I’m pleased to have been selected 8 times for my portraits and documentary-style shots.
RANGEFINDER RISING STARS NOMINEE
The Rangefinder rising stars award is one of the most prestigious awards a wedding photographer can bag. It’s a worldwide award and the competition is the toughest out there. This year I was personally hand-picked and nominated by the team at Rangefinder, which was a massive honour. Although I didn’t make the final 30, this truly is one of those Just to be nominated is an amazing kind of things.
MASTERS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
I’ve been blessed to have received many awards from the Masters Of Wedding Photographers over the last couple of years. Every three months a jury of leading industry experts pick winners based on exceptional and innovative wedding photos. The competition here is fierce. Finally, I’ve been named in the TOP 10 WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS in 2023
WEDDISON INTERNATIONAL WEDDING AWARDS
The first awards I ever won were from Weddisons. Images are submitted from all corners of the globe and the competition pool is large in every round.
THIS IS REPORTAGE AWARDS
It’s been great to be named amongst the top 100 wedding photographers by This is Reportage. These awards celebrate the unposed and unstaged documentary wedding photography that I love to shoot. Portraits are great and creating “wall hanging” images are obviously fun, but the natural, unpredictable candid moments are what keeps my photography fresh. Getting recognised for that is awesome.

On top of the awards, I’ve had some fantastic wedding industry blogs showcase my weddings. As you can imagine, these blogs get 1000’s of submissions and it’s fantastic to have had weddings featured on Rock My Wedding, Whimsical Wonderland Wedding Blog, Boho Bride, The English Wedding Blog, Mens Vows and more.
As cool as awards sound and I would be lying if I said winning the odd one here and there didn’t give me a little ego boost, the best seal of approval is the testimonials of my couples.
