Weddings At Compton Verney – Laura & Rob’s big day
I recently did a family photo shoot with Laura & Rob and upon uploading those images, I realised I never blogged their wedding day and needed to rectify that straight away, as being their Compton Verney Wedding photographer back in 2019 was definitely a highlight from that year. I mean, this wedding answers the age of question of; What happens when you mix an awesome couple, their crazy family and friends, a huge truck, an art gallery and so many smiles? – The Cale wedding of course.
I spent my morning photographing Laura and her bridesmaids at a hotel down the road from Compton Verney, before popping over to Rob for some groom shots. Both of them were relaxed and I knew from the start this was going to be a fun and relaxed day.
I arrived at Compton Verney to a packed-out ceremony room where Rob was waiting for Laura. We didn’t have to wait long as Laura drove down the long drive in a MASSIVE Lorry. Talk about making an entrance. The ceremony was beautiful and tearful. These guys didn’t mind showing their emotions and it was perfect. The afternoon was spent basking in the sun before heading in for food and speeches. Those were equally as joyful and tearful as the ceremony. The evening didn’t disap point and the dance floor was jammed from start to finish.
It was great to shoot alongside my friend at BlueRidge Videography and I want to thank Laura & Rob for choosing me to be their Compton Verney Wedding Photographer.
