This was my first time being a Swallows Nest Barn Wedding Photographer and what a venue it was. A beautiful barn surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. But when it comes to the pictures, it doesn’t matter how good the venue is (ok, it does help a little), it’s all about the couple and their family and friends. Amy & Petros, take a bow as you and your crew were so much fun to be around that being your wedding photographer was a joy.
From an intimate morning at Amy’s mums house to the party filled with traditional Greek dancing (Petros being Greek and all) the day never had a dull moment. We had dogs with Go Pro’s attached, A Cake with a Darth Vader wedding topper, speeches in two different languages, beautiful weather, great food, constant laughter and a few people may have had a drink or ten (Holly, i’m looking at you).
The Swallows Nest Barn Wedding venue felt like it was made for Petros & Amy’s day and I can’t wait to be back there again. A massive thank you to Amy, Petros & their family for having me as their Swallows Nest Barn Wedding Photographer and for just being awesome people.
Big Hi 5’s go to Leanne O’Neill Makeup Artist for here super skills with brushes and powders, Sam bashford for her hair styling genius. Debbie Brake for making a cracker of a cake with my favourite topper of the season (I might just be a massive Star Wars fan) & of course to Bliss Events for dropping some killer tunes on the night.
