The Mill Barns came on the scene only a few years back and has fast become a favourite wedding venue for couples wanting a relaxed wedding in a venue that offers everything under one roof. It is located on the site of an old 17th-century watermill which just adds to the picturesque location. I’ve been a Mill Barns Wedding Photographer a number of times now and each time has been a joy to photograph. The staff are friendly and they know how to keep your wedding feeling relaxed yet on track. The Barn can be found on the borders of Shropshire & Worcestershire making it the perfect spot for those looking for a Midlands based wedding venue with some character.

Wedding Photography at the Mill Barns

What I love about the Mill Barns are the beautiful gardens that are located to the rear of the barn. They burst with colour in the summer and are surrounded by the old mill pond. They make for the perfect backdrop to some couples pictures and the nearby fields often allow for some cool sunset images. The balconies and area out the front of the main barn make for perfect spots for the family formals and on good weather days, the natural candid photography of your guests. If the weather doesn’t play ball, there loads of space indoor for pictures and for your wedding guests to enjoy themselves. At night, the barn is lit up by hanging festoon lights which make for some lovely night portraits.

Weddings at Mill Barns

If you could tick off all the features of a perfect wedding venue then I’m pretty sure the Mill Barns would meet each one. Onsite accommodation, a civil ceremony barn and also the ability to have the wedding outdoors. There is a large area for the drinks reception and a big barn for the meal and evening entertainment. Couple that with the beautiful gardens and picturesque location, The Mill Barns should tick them all.
