I’ve had the pleasure of being a Stone Barn Wedding Photographer a number of times now and every time I arrive I fall in love with the rustic charms this wedding venue has to offer and how they have combined that with a modern twist.

Stone Barn came be found in the Cotswolds near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This stunning part of the UK is spoilt when it comes too beautiful wedding venues, but Stone Barn truly holds its own amongst them.

About Stone Barn Wedding Venue

Stone Barn, part of the Cripps & Co family, is such a stunning spot for a wedding. The main stone barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and can seat up to 120 guests, but if you’re going bigger, the Dutch Barn has space for up to 200. Fancy saying your vows outside? The oak pavilion is a dreamy outdoor option that also fits 200. And when it comes to the party, the whole place can handle up to 250 guests for the evening—plenty of room for dancing, drinks, and making memories. One of the coolest things about Stone Barn is their epic indoor barbecue and rotisserie (actually the biggest in Britain!). Their in-house chefs cook up seriously amazing food—it’s a total highlight of the day.

Stone Barn has such a gorgeous rustic charm—it’s all about those exposed beams, open fires, twinkling fairy lights, and that warm, inviting atmosphere that really brings the whole place to life. It’s got those cosy vibes I absolutely love, but it’s not dark at all. Thanks to the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, there’s loads of beautiful natural light pouring in, which makes a huge difference for your photos. There’s plenty of room inside for your guests to relax and mingle, which means I can move around and catch all those lovely candid moments without anyone even noticing. If the weather plays nice, the garden out back is perfect for those in-between moments and a few relaxed portraits—but the real magic happens out front. The open fields and wide skies are amazing for sunset shots—honestly, it’s hard to beat that golden hour glow out there.
