Las Vegas, Nelson’s Ghost Town Engagement Photoshoot

Yeah, you read that right….Las Vegas. I’m bursting to tell you all about the wedding of Toni-Anne & Kevin and our Las Vegas adventure however, I will save that bad boy for their wedding post. For now, just enjoy this super fun pre-wed / engagement-style shoot we did in Nelson’s Ghost Town.

Two days before they tied the knot, we arrived at Nelson’s Ghost Town which was located at Eldorado Canyon in the middle of the Nevada desert. It’s hard to explain just how cool this place was. It’s kind of like a graveyard for old American vehicles. 100’s of Massive cars, three-story school buses, bikes, trucks, crashed aeroplanes and more were scattered around. All in various states of decay, but also all available to sit in and marvel at. There were barns and houses filled with old signs and memorabilia and even mine shafts. We explored as much as we could whilst taking pictures, but when I return to Vegas, I shall 100% be back there for an official tour.

The owner of Nelson’s Ghost Town greeted us with a smile and warned us of the dangers we could face. He showed us a book full of pictures of photographers who had fallen into the millions of cacti that were around and also of the rattlesnakes we might find…You don’t get this back in an English wood 🙂

In the first half of the session, we took some beautiful family photos of Kevin, Toni-Anne and their amazing daughter Immy. We kept it fun and light and did as much exploring as possible. In the second hour, Immy had a chill in her pushchair, Kevin & Toni changed outfits and we did more of a couples shoot. Damn, these two know how to work the camera 🙂
