Hothorpe Hall Woodlands Wedding Photographer
A Real Woodlands Wedding Day
After shooting Bekki and Kevin’s wedding earlier this summer, I’m now a firm believer that having your ceremony outside is a MUST if weather permits. It was so nice being in the grounds of Hothorp Hall’s Woodlands and you couldn’t help thinking you were in some kind of fairytale as Bekki came through the trees in her wedding dress to meet Kevin. Getting to be their Hothorp Hall Woodlands Wedding Photographer was a joy.
Taking full advantage of the long summer days, Bekki arrived at The Woodlands in the early afternoon to prepare for the celebrations ahead in the rather cool Treehouse honeymoon suite. She arrived in style on her dad’s very own vintage bus. I assumed the late start was so she could chill out in the morning, but later found out it was so she could fit in a gym session….gotta get your wedding lifts in 🙂
After one of the most chilled bridal preps in history, we strolled down to the beautiful ceremony spot and Kevin was waiting to say their “I do’s”. Everyone then took full advantage of the beautiful weather and drank the afternoon away in the sun.
In stark contrast to the chilled vibe of the day, the evening got crazy and quick. The dance floor stayed full and ended with all the guests circling the happy couple. A proper celebration to start Kevin & Bekki’s new life as husband and wife. I can’t thank the couple enough for choosing me to be their Hothorp Hall Woodlands Wedding Photographer. I could do it all again tomorrow 🙂

Wedding Photography at The Woodlands Wedding Venue
As I’m sure you can tell from the words above, I’ve loved my time being a Woodlands Wedding photographer and I especially love the outdoor ceremony space for the photography. As venues go, the Woodlands doesn’t have many issues for a photographer to fight against. The main venue is very bright and has lots of windows to allow the light to flood in. The grounds are stunning with wooded areas and open fields that scream epic couples portraits. All in all, it’s a joy to shoot it.
