Rothamsted Manor Wedding Photographer

At the start of 2017 I photographed the wedding of Amy & Mike. It was a fantastic day with super people and I loved every second of it. Fast forward a few months and I got an email from Sarah, Amy’s sister, announcing she was getting married and wanting to book me as their Rothamsted Manor wedding photographer in Hertfordshire. I couldn’t have been happier to spend another day with these awesome people and marked it on my calendar with a massive smile on my face.

Fast forward a year and I arrived at a hair salon in the beautiful village of Harpenden to start bridal prep for Sarah. Once team bride had all got styled up, we headed over to Rothamsted Manor to complete the look and don the dresses. It was a super chilled morning and I felt like one of the crew again.

The ceremony took place at St Nicholas Church back in the village to a crowd of friends and loved one. The sun shone through the windows and Sarah & James exchanged vows and rings to become Mr & Mrs Russell.  Outside, everyone threw confetti and the newlyweds sped away in a cool vintage car back to Rothamsted Manor.

The afternoon was spent topping up tans in the sun-soaked gardens of the venue. Much ‘pop’ was drunk, garden games were played and it was clear to see everyone was having an amazing time. Sarah & James were then surprised with a Celebrity visit…None other than the film star with over 21K followers on Instagram…. ‘Butch Cassidy‘ The Pug. Both Sarah & James follow the little dude on social media and Sarah’s sister arranged for Butch to be there on the day as a special surprise for her.

The guests pilled inside for the wedding breakfast but were soon back out again as the speeches took place under the shade of a massive tree in the gardens. More drink flowed, more games were played and more memories were made. The wedding came to a close with a fantastic Ceilidh band that got everyone dancing across the room. A perfect way to end an amazing day.
