Blackwell Grange is located in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire and it only opened its doors to weddings in 2016 and after shooting there a few times now, I’ve seen it grow into the award-winning venue it has become. It’s an exclusive-use barn wedding venue that seems to blend a rustic and modern theme together with its various buildings. The Ceremony barn (The Thatch Barn) gives you that homely/country vibe whilst the breakfast and reception space ( Orchard Barn ) is white and modern offering you a blank contemporary canvas to create on. There’s an onsite bridal suite for the morning preparations, lawns & beautiful views to take in and a courtyard space for sunny afternoon celebrations. Unlike many Barn wedding venues, Blackwell Grange also offers some onsite accommodation for you and some of your guests.

Wedding Photography at Blackwell Grange

After photographing weddings at Blackwell Grange in summer and winter, I’ve had the best and the worst of the British weather, but with the space available to you at Blackwell grange, there’s always somewhere to create some cool pictures. The lawns and fields surrounding the venue make for amazing spots for couples portraits and the courtyard and contemporary Orchard Barn are great settings for the natural moments between you and your guests to happen.
