2016…you’ve been a corker of a year!   Trying to sum up a year in a single blog is very hard especially when I’ve had the pleasure of shooting over 40 weddings, loads of engagement shoots, won awards for a few images and generally had a brilliant 12 months. Ive met some amazing bride & grooms, their awesome families and their friends this year and to be honest I’ve made some new friends along the way too. Ive shot at venues across the whole of the UK and seen some amazing things. Tipi’s, posh halls, barns, marques, village halls, Churches, town halls, Cathedrals, local pubs and just about anywhere else you can imagine, Ive photographed weddings at this year. It’s been epic!

Ive also worked with, for and had work for me some amazing photographers. Special shoutouts go to my brother in arms Roo Stain, thanks for making me better than I could have every been if we hadn’t worked together. Winston Sanders, Darren Gair, Simon Brettel, Greg Milner, Ed & Victoria, Will Fuller, Chris Bunce, all my new 9Dots buddies and every other photographer that I’ve shared amazing moments with this year…..I thank you all.

Ive called this blog my ‘best wedding photos of 2016’ but really it’s a compilation of my personal favourites for one reason or another. Trying to narrow down over 40 weddings in to just 150 images has been very hard. Every wedding has been a joy to photograph and I could have made this post 10 times longer and still have images I wanted to share.

Finally, my biggest thank you of the year is to the couples that put their faith in me to capture their day. Thank you with all my heart and for all your kind words. Here’s to 2017, it’s already looking set to be amazing.
