To all my 2025 couples… take a bow., you absolutely smashed it. To celebrate them all, here’s my best wedding photos of 2025. A collection of images that make me smile, bring back all the joys and best tell wedding stories in my creative way.

Another whirlwind wedding season has flown by, and I’m looking back feeling hugely grateful (and slightly amazed at how many miles I’ve covered). It’s been a year of road trips, early alarms, late-night dance floors and discovering some seriously beautiful places along the way. I’ve photographed weddings in castles, manor houses, forests, barns, tipis, medieval halls, family homes and everywhere in between. But here’s the thing, it’s never the venue that makes a wedding unforgettable. It’s always the people. My awesome couples, their families, their friends and all the love and happy chaos they bring. This year was overflowing with incredible humans (and a few dogs) who made every single celebration feel completely one-of-a-kind.

This year also brought something new with the introduction of my Hybrid shooting package and I’ve absolutely loved doing that. Creating highlight wedding films alongside the photography for some weddings has been such a joy and I’m so excited to keep doing the same for some of my 2026 couples too. I was also lucky enough to pick up a couple more industry awards for my images (which is always lovely), but honestly, the best part has been the connections. Getting to know amazing couples and working alongside brilliant suppliers. I hope those relationships last a long, long time.

Thank you to everyone who made this season such a joy, especially my wonderful couples who trusted me with their days. And to my 2026 people… I cannot wait to bring some J S Coates Wedding Photography magic to your wedding day. Let’s do this.
