A Wedding Photographer’s Self-Isolation | Week 4

I can’t deny this has been the toughest week of lockdown yet. The dip in the weather, my messed up sleeping pattern, missing photographing weddings, my lack of ability to remember what day/time it is and the repetitiveness of daily lockdown life has taken its toll this week. We’ve had nothing to celebrate like the previous weeks. Having one birthday fall each week of self-isolation has given us something to focus on and without that, I’ve felt pretty lost. The kids, by contrast, are loving it still and seem to be able to fill their days with something.

It’s not all doom and gloom. We found Draw With Rob and that has been fun to do. We are racing through Homeland and loving that. We’ve torn down a greenhouse and started to build a rockery, Garden football has been at an all-time high and my lockdown moustache could now pass(ish) as a real one…only took me four weeks 🙂

I think my mood is reflected in the fact the camera didn’t come out as much this week. I only have a small selection of pictures to share.

I’ve tried to kick myself back into gear this last weekend and will put on my happy face again to head into next week.
