The Cowshed at Woodhall Farm

Jo & Dan took the whole DIY barn wedding up a notch a few weeks back when they smashed their Cowshed Wedding at Woodhall Farm….They even had to supply their own tables and chairs. Despite having all the pressure of doing it all themselves, they both had an air of absolute chilledness on the day. As far as I could see, and remember I get to see behind the curtain, the day went perfectly.

I spent my morning nipping between Jo’s parent’s house where she and team Bride did their thing and then over to Jo & Dan’s house where Dan and his wolf pack spent their morning. Usually the groom finds himself “dragged” to the pub for a swift half before the ceremony, but in this case, Jo was the one that found the time to waltz into the pub in her full wedding gear and turn some heads. A sneaky glass of bubbly later and we all headed over to The Cowshed ready to get the show on the road.

The ceremony was beautifully serenaded by Dan’s Sister and her family as a full-on string quartet, talk about a talented family. Once the vows were exchanged, everyone enjoyed a few drinks before settling down for afternoon tea and speeches. The evening celebrations kicked off after dark and the dance floor was the only place to be until late into the night.

I love Barn wedding venues and The Cowshed at Woodall farm didn’t disappoint with its rustic charm and beautiful grounds. I very much hope to go back there again soon. I can’t thank Dan & Jo enough for trusting me to be their Cow Shed wedding photographer and getting to share their day with them.
