Skegness 2016 – A Family Holiday
Skeggy, Skegvagas, Old Skeggyton…… It goes by many names does Skegness however, for a few days in summer 2016, It was called home by the Coates family. My wife, our beautiful children, my mum, dad & myself all crammed ourselves into a caravan and lived the dream.
We made sandcastles, ate fish and chips, paddled in the murky British sea, hit the arcades armed with pockets full of 2p’s and even chucked the kids on some donkeys for a ride on the beach. A true British holiday with plenty of amazing memories created. There’s something special about holidaying in in this country and over the next few years I can’t wait to show my kids what beautiful places we have here…..before I abandon it for scorching hot holidays around a pool in Greece 🙂
