The eternal struggle of being a wedding photographer that is also a parent is that every school holiday, with the exception of Christmas, seems to fall during wedding season and always when the edit queue is mounting up. It often means choosing between family time and work and although I know I should prioritise family time, often work wins out so brides can get their pictures sooner and can kid myself I’m in some sort of control. Well, with four weddings in seven days during the first week of the Easter holidays, I decided to ease off, enjoy the sun and have a little more time with Emily and my boys.
So far this week we have had a BBQ, gone swimming, played lots of football, had some board game nights and today we went to Paradise Wildlife Park. Here’s a few snaps from our day out.
