Some people are just so much fun to be around and make you feel like one of family, Amy & Mike did just that for me a few weeks back at their Nettle Hill Wedding.

From the moment I arrived at Amy’s parent’s house, I was fed, watered & felt at right at home. The morning was pretty relaxed with bacon sandwiches, a splash of bubbly (for the girls) & lots of laughter. I was slightly disappointed in the lack of rabbits in the house, as each time I had met with Amy & Mike before the wedding I had always been greeted by more Rabbits than in the whole of Watership Down! I think Amy had considered every possible option of having her furry family at the wedding but couldn’t see a way of making it work 🙁

Once the dress was donned, Amy headed over to Nettle Hill Wedding Venue to meet up with the man of her dreams. The ceremony was beautiful and after the knot was tied, we were treated to some music by the Best Man and Amy’s sister.

Family formals followed & I then stole the couple away for some alone time with the camera before heading back in for speeches and afternoon tea. I was lucky enough to join the wedding party for that and I can vouch for food at Nettle Hill…10 points to the chef 🙂

The evening brought about a full dance floor of tipsy wedding guests and they partied long into the night. At one point the DJ dropped a few classic party tunes which had accompanying dances and I’ve never seen a better group of people smashing the Macarena!

I can’t thank Amy & Mike enough for giving me the pleasure of being their Nettle Hill Wedding Photographer. I loved it all and want to wish the happy couple an amazing life together…You totally deserve it.
